Immersive stays shaped by landscape, slow food, and rural living

The Luberon region of France and the south-east of Sicily were two of my favorite destinations during my summer 2024 travels. In Luberon, just 1.5 hours from Marseille, I stayed at a boutique lodge run by a French-Italian couple, surrounded by lavender fields, rolling vineyards, and charming Provencal villages that epitomize rural France. The landscape's natural beauty and agricultural heritage offered a quiet, authentic escape.

In Sicily, I had the pleasure of staying at IUTA Glamping resort, a secluded agriturismo retreat in Noto, set among olive and citrus groves. This immersive, nature-driven stay highlighted the region’s farm-to-table ethos and the simplicity of local living, providing a deeply connected retreat. Both locations offered authentic and unique stays, where stunning landscapes and cultural immersion made for unforgettable escapes.
